Single Sign-On, New Authentication Options and New Languages
Good Morning!
This is an exciting Monday for us at Helprace but more importantly for our customers :) We've launched our biggest update yet and (naturally) it means some BIG changes to take in.
Let's get right to it:
Single Sign-On
The biggest star of this release is Single Sign-On (SSO). You'll now be able to integrate your website or application's login system with your Helprace portal. This allows your agents, customers (or both!) to seamlessly login to Helprace when they login to your resource. Our Single Sign-On relies on JWT (JSON Web Tokens) technology for secure exchange of user data. Check the guide to get started: Setting up Single Sign-On based on JWT (JSON Web Token).
More on authentication
We have added an option to disable user registration. If your business requires you to have full control of new user creation, we're sure it's something you're gonna love.
There is also a setting that removes the user login form (agents can still login through a secret page). It is certainly a must for some Single Sign-On scenarios - for example, when every user must be logged in through your authentication system. It may also be useful in other cases, particularly when you'd like to limit user authentication to social logins only.
