Disable user registration

I want to create internal knowledgebase only. General public cannot access the knowledgebase or create new account. I want to be able to create new user accounts and allocate rights from the admin settings. How can I achieve this?

We have added this option to Settings > SECURITY > Authentication in the Admin Panel.

To disable new user registration you just need to untick the "Allow new users registration" option there and hit Save.

An option to disable new user registration would be a nice thing to have. I have converted your question to an idea, so that everyone could vote for it.

@Olivier, you can convert a question into an idea when you're editing it in the admin panel. That's what I did with this topic, by the way.

Sure! You can add users on the People page. You just need to provide user email and they will get a message with a confirmation link. Learn more: Adding users, admins, agents to Helprace
