Restrict users by email domain

I do not wish my Helprace to be accessible by anyone other than employees of my company. Is it possible to restrict users from signing up unless they have a company email address?

I see that you can restrict according to IP address, but this is no good.

What I would like to have is for a user from CompanyX.com to be able to signup with fred@companyx.com - any other user would not be able to register, eg. sue@gmail.com could not register.

The Single Sign On would be awesome, but I see that is still on your roadmap. A simpler approach which would satisfy my needs would be to be able to restrict by email address domain.

Is this possible?

Chris, thank you for asking! As we don't have this feature as of yet, I'm going to convert your question to an idea, so users could vote for it.

Hi

I would like to have public content, content private to my customers (all of them, with a list of email adresses or domains) and private to staff members

Just to clarify what's supported right now and what's not. There are public and private spaces in Helprace (see Introduction to spaces in Helprace). Content within a private space is always visible to all staff members and never to the customers. Content within a public space is visible to everyone, obviously.

What needs to be added to satisfy your use case is ability to allow selected customers to see content within a private space.

BTW, single sign on is coming! :)

Single Sign-On is available in Helprace for a while now. Does anyone need restricting users by email domain or Single Sign-On covers it all? Please let us know!

Restricting users by email domain would be great!
