How do we lock a forum (community) from further comments?

You can lock each support channel for further comments separately. To do this, head to the Settings page in the Admin Console and select a desired support channel (e.g. Questions):

Uncheck the 'Enable Comments' option and click 'Save'. This will disable commenting function in the Questions channel. All previously added comments will still be shown.

You can repeat these steps for other channels (Updates, Knowledge Base, Ideas, Problems, and Praise).

This is blocking customers from posting not locking individual topics.

I'm sorry for misunderstanding. I thought that "locking community" is about locking all topics in the community at once.

There is no way to lock an individual topic for further comments, unfortunately. This might be a nice option to have though. Please, consider suggesting it to Ideas.

is this planning to be added?

We haven't considered this option yet. Please submit it as an idea, so we could start getting feedback on it. Thank you!
